Unable to launch the game – NVidia GTX 9 / 10 Series card driver issues
It has come to our attention that a recent update to the Nvidia GPU drivers for GTX series cards (9 / 10 series) (Version 582.28) are causing issues with launching Ranch Sim.
This will appear as a silent crash, after clicking play on steam, nothing appears to happen and after a short while it reverts back to saying play again.
If you have a GTX series NVidia card with the most recent drivers installed, we advise you to roll back to older drivers. The last known working driver is version 581.80 (released November 4th 2025)
